We encourage pupils to
maximise their potential

Footsteps is a dance school founded in 1995, specialising in Ballroom, Latin, Rock 'n' Roll, and Freestyle dance. We also offer classes in Musical Theatre, Street, and Contemporary dance, along with private tuition and exercise sessions. Our bi-annual shows at the Haymarket Theatre give pupils the opportunity to reach their full potential as stage performers. All our instructors are fully qualified with the International Dance Teachers' Association.Association.

We select participants as fairly as possible but we do expect a level of commitment from those involved and this will reflect our decisions. We fund our shows as much as possible by fundraising events and a rehearsal fee to try and avoid giving you a bill.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY

Footsteps is more then a dance school it is my second family and my confidence has grown so much.
Footsteps school is affectionately known to many as 'their happy place'. I can confidently say this school has helped so many pupils in so many ways.
From the teachers to the young helpers the school is a wonderful place to go and let go of all the stresses of normal life!
The only day I don’t have to ask my daughter to get up is a Saturday! It really is something very special, that I hope she’ll be part of for years to come.
I love competing and performing with everyone and always feel happy when I'm dancing at Footsteps.
